Who I am

Cure & Code is a trading name of Charlie Cure, based in Leicestershire, United Kingdom. For anything about your data, email hello@cureandcode.co.uk.

What I collect and why

When you ask for a free preview or send a project enquiry, I keep your name, your business name, your website or Facebook page, the email address or phone number you give me and anything you tell me about your business or project. I use them to reply, build your preview and talk to you about it. If you don't go ahead, I delete them after 12 months.

If you become a client, I keep the details needed to run your website and invoice you for as long as you're a client, and for six years afterwards for tax records.

Who else sees it

Only the services that run this site: Vercel hosts it, Resend delivers form messages to me, and they arrive in my email inbox. Some of these providers may store data outside the UK, with the safeguards UK data protection law requires. Nobody else sees your details, and I never sell or share them for marketing.

The reviews on the homepage come from Google. When they load, your browser fetches the reviewers' photos from Google, which can see your IP address, as with any website that shows images from Google.

Cookies

This site doesn't set any cookies, and there are no tracking or advertising scripts on it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see what I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. Email me and I'll sort it.
